Wednesday August 19
We had a bit of a rough night last night on the mooring
buoy in Bishop Bay.
Sometime in the night the wind came up and the boat was
rocking a bit, and the hull slap was unbearable, even for me. Lisa was on the couch and I ended up on the
floor near the freezer.
Not bad, but hard on the hips and the back. It might be a good idea to carry a piece of
foam on board just for nights like this.
I may be able to stuff it behind the couch when not in use.
Bina was sure confused.
She kept trying to find a place that was calm and quiet, but of course
she could not.
Pretty uneventful cruise for today, and no pictures taken. Bishop Bay is up at the top near the middle. You run down Princess Royal Channel to Sheep Passage, and pull over into Windy Bay. Distance is about 56 miles.
We made our way down and over into Windy Bay where we set
the anchor again. There was only one other boat in there for this night.
260 miles to this point.
Getting there.
