2015-06-27 No Halibut

Not much to report for this trip.
I went down into Thorne Arm and tried some bottom fishing.
I could not anchor so just drifted and fished wherever I could.
It was nice sunny weather and a nice day on the water, but no bottom fish today.

Sailing yacht Imagine II tied up at Doyon's Landing private dock.

As I said, a beautiful day on the water.

A skiff parking lot?  Not sure what is going on here.

A beautiful house along the waterfront on the way back to town.
I don't know who owns this home.

It's Saturday, so the Disney Wonder is in port.

Above are a couple of pictures of the Ketchikan waterfront on the way back to the harbor.

It's never fun to come back to port after catching no fish, but one also has to recognize that it was a beautiful day on the water, and many people just don't have the opportunity to experience it.  So I appreciate it for what it was, and move on.
